Summer Meadow and Pond
39 x 55 Oil/Linen
Available at Ventana Fine Art
Well, this will most likely be my last posting for a few weeks as I am off to England. I can't wait to see my family. I shall be doing some oil pastels, and maybe if I can get to use my Dad's computer I will post some if I am happy with them. I love the immediacy of oil pastels, especially when painting outside and my work becomes quite abstract and bright... very different from my usual paintings... maybe I need to think about that!
I will be back soon!

Showings Fine Art - Celebrating Women Artists
'Celebrating Women Artists'
On Friday, 17th July, Barry and I are driving up to Denver to attend the Artist Reception for the Celebrating Women Artists' exhibition. I have already sold First Born, so I am very happy about that. On Saturday I fly out to the UK. I am going home!! My dear favourite Aunt is having an operation and I need to be with her. Plus I will be seeing all my family. I can't wait!

New Mexico Skies
End of the Day
8 x 16 Oil/Panel
Approaching Storm
8 x 16 Oil/Panel
Here are couple of new paintings. Every now and again I get the urge to paint something from New Mexico. It's the skies that I particularly love to paint. So much scope for playing with glazes. These are the first sky paintings I have done for a long time.
Barry's workshop finished yesterday. Always an exhausting and rewarding experience.
