My weekend studio

For the last two weekends I have managed to get away and stay with my friend, Melanie in Cambridge. She has a little studio flat above her garage where her daughter stays sometimes. I have been able to use it this weekend to paint in and it feels so good to be able to just lock myself away and get on with some work without interruption.

So happy to see you have some studio space to work in! And I love the new work. What size is the bird and bee?

Thanks Deborah. The bird and the bumblebee is 12 x 12. It's got a ways to go but I made a good start!

I cannot wait to see the finished bird and bee painting. Your temporary studio seems to be working as this painting looks great so far. I'm so glad I found your blog.

Thanks Patricia. I guess I am getting used to this interesting situation! I feel a little like a tortoise with my studio on my back!
