Barry McCuan's Solo Show

Here is a link to Barry's solo show at Ventana Fine Art, opening this Friday 8th October. Sadly, I won't be attending, unless of course someone has a private jet!!

The above painting is one of Barry's wonderful boat paintings inspired by our trips to Dungeness Beach, Kent. I love the clouds.

I am busy working on new paintings for a show in January called 'Sacred Creatures' on Sanibel Island at the Watson Macrae Gallery.

Thanks Loriann... I am intrigued myself... have just signed up for a day's calligraphy class! Birds and Poems... not sure if it will happen for this show, but I am inspired!

Hi Lynne,
We went to Barry's show, that painting you posted has to be seen for real to be appreciated. Everything on show was incredible.
Meridee signed up for his workshop today, and she's really looking forward to it!

Hi Steve, thanks for your note and good to hear the show looked great. You are right about the boat... it's wonderful in real life! It makes me want to climb in and sail away into those clouds it's so large! That's great that Meridee is going to work with Barry. I may be biased, but he really is a wonderful teacher! Enjoy yourself Meridee!

Wow, the show looks gorgeous! I wish I could see it in person.

Congratulations on your upcoming exhibit, too!

Thanks Katherine. I am taking a week off from painting for the show because I am going to Scotland on Sunday! So hopefully I will get out and do some painting.
