In the Borders

Looking back across the valley towards Tinto.

Haven't had much time the last two days to get out and paint, but finally I managed to grab an hour and a half before sundown to do a quick pastel. The sheep were very interested in me! I think they thought I had food!

No food for the sheep but your photos provide food for my soul. What a serene area...your pastel captures it perfectly, Lynne.

Thank you Rozanne, won't be long until you see it for yourself!!

I think the sheep liked to have a look if you had included them in your lovely pastel. ;-)

I think you are right there Paula, but I had been helping my friend move her mother to a new room and I had very little time... sheep have to be very carefully considered! I will give it a go later on this week. It's also VERY cold at the moment! Your drawings are exquisite by the way.
