I am not sure if it means anything Deborah. I don't think it has anything to do with paganism, but there are various references to wicken and wiccan on google, so who knows. This area is steeped in history, going back to Hereward the Wake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hereward_the_Wake

Maybe I should put this all on the blog!

Anyhow, itis a National Trust property.
