Lovely bird and beautiful painting. Have you ever seen the Northern Long-tailed Tit? It has a white head, without the black stripe. Very cute too. Your painting has a very nice diagonal composition: the eye glides down the tail to the head of the bird and rests at the pink flower. Paula
Hello Paula, thank you for your lovely and observant comment! No I had not seen a northern long tailed tit, but have just looked it up and it is so gorgeous... will have to paint one!
Lynne, what a beautifully innocent expression you have on this observant little bird. I think this one will find a buyer very quickly! (maybe even at Ventana!)
